Abstract (EN)
In this study, the software of a mobile weapon platform which can be operated autonomously and manually has been developed within the scope of the information obtained as a result of the processing of GPS data. The weapon platform that will be positioned at the fixed point will be able to determine its direction according to the position information to be sent from an external environment by the developed software and it will be directed to the target in 2 axes. The software enables the platform to move 360 degrees in the right-left axis and 90 degrees in the up-down axis. Furthermore, the data from the GPS can be processed with the navigation software developed. Thanks to the software developed for motor control, it is possible to use two DC motors up to 1 kW in the movement system of the platform. DC motors can be connected to a portable computer with the help of the motor control board. To direct the platform to the desired point, the heading and azimuth angles with the information of distance between the destination point and current point was used. The coordinates sent from any environment for the destination point include the latitude and longitude information of the target. The orientation process is carried out according to the coordinate information of the platform and the heading angle values with the mathematical relationship between the coordinate information of the target point determined. The heading angle of the platform, the azimuth angle of the target point and the distance of the two points to each other are calculated instantaneously with the software on the industrial computer. The platform changes its direction to the target point until heading and azimuth angles are equal. The developed software enables the installation of thermal cameras on the weapon platform. In this way, the platform can be monitored and controlled remotely via the internet connection.
