Abstract (EN)
With the introduction of humanity to the settled life and the formation of city society, the street wall has become a means of communication, and it has become a public space from the moment anything is done or written on. In the first part; The concepts of public space and art in public space are discussed. In the second part, "Graffiti" is introduced and while the reflections of this old form of art in the contemporary world are determined, it is tried to be understood to which point it came in the evolution of graffiti as a form of expression. Especially after 1960's graffiti and its post-graffiti art emergence and development processes are examined, the most important styles, shapes and techniques of graffiti have been investigated and in this context, examples of the works of artists engaged in interdisciplinary practice have been given. In the third part; graffiti with prominent Istanbul (Türkiye), Stockholm (Sweden), London and Bristol (England), Berlin (Germany), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Sao Paulo (Brazil), New York (USA) discussed, leading in this context Incoming artists are researched and examples of their works are given. The fourth part includes original design, trial and application studies in which ceramic is chosen as material and re-explain while graffiti is associated with prominent styles, figures and techniques.
