Love in the context of object relations in Günhan Kuşkanat's novel Evvel Aşklar Masalı

In this study, Günhan Kuşkanat's novel Evvel Aşklar Masalı is examined with a psychoanalytic approach. For the theoretical framework, firstly, the psychoanalytic theory pioneered by Sigmund Freud, then the object relations developed by Melanie Klein and the attachment models proposed by John Bowlby are given. In the second part, the close relationship between psychoanalysis and literature is examined and the definitions of these theories to the phenomenon of love are summarized. In the last part of the thesis, the love triangle in Evvel Aşklar Masalı is evaluated separately according to Classical Psychoanalytic Theory, Object Relations Theory and Attachment Theory.
