Abstract (EN)
The subject of this study was determined in order to examine how two Viennese painters Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele were influenced by each other's understanding of art in the same workshop environment and to shed light on subsequent researchers. In the research, apart from the academy education, the stylistic achievements of Klimt and Schiele in the context of the master-apprentice relationship in the same workshop are mentioned through examples of works. The conceptual framework part of this research is shaped on the art movements and definitions of Klimt and Schiele. Although the styles of Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele are extremely different, there are similarities in their approaches to the theme of women in their works. Most of the time, they worked in the same workshop and worked from the same models. Klimt and Schiele's closeness, based on both friend and master-apprentice relationships, has had an impact on the works of both artists that will leave a mark on history. In the research, the use of literature scanning technique, one of the qualitative information collection methods, and the examination of plastic art works were provided. In this context, thesis, article, and visual scanning related to the subject were made and transferred. In order to support the literary part of the study, a comparative analysis of the works is given on the works of both artists in the same period. For literary sources, mostly source books and periodicals were preferred in order to be reliable, and interactive sources were preferred mostly for visual elements. In the findings and interpretation part of the study, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele cover the years between 1905 and 1918 within the works they produced after they met each other.
