Abstract (EN)
An accurate analysis of the Ottoman Empire, which has a very important and large share in Turkish political history, can be made with the guidance of primary sources. In this context, it is very important to correctly read and evaluate primary source documents. The Shari'a Registry (book) included in these archival sources, which contain court records from Shari'a courts and documents sent from the center, contain documents that will shed light on the history of the Ottoman Empire. It contains important information politically, administratively and socio-culturally from the period in which it was written. In this study, the transcription and evaluation of the Ankara Shari'a Registry No. 36 was made, and information about the administrative, social, cultural and economic status of Ankara between the dates H. 1053-1059 (M. 1643-1649) was obtained based on the documents in the register.
