Transcription and assessment of Anatolian Cadileskar's Agenda numbered 5193-35 dated E.1145-1146 (G. 1732-1734)

The Ottoman Empire built a dazzling administrative structure in a wide geography where it ruled for more than 600 years. One of the most important elements of this administration, which embraced many different nations, was the scholarly (ilmiye) class. Rumelian and Anatolian Cadileskerat's agenda (ruznâmçe) registers are one of the primary sources that should be consulted in the research of the scholarly class. The ruznâmçe notebooks, which mainly contain the records that reveal the professional mobility of cadis and professor throughout their careers, also allow us to see the functioning of the ilmiye bureaucracy. Our main source, which was examined in the study, was the ruznâmçe book numbered 5195-35 dated e.1145-1146 (g. 1732-1734) in the Nuruosmaniye Library belonging to the Anatolian Cadileskerat. In point of being primary source of the records in this book contain important information about the second quarter of the XVIII. century and the subject of our study. In our study, we examined the ilmiye class with an archival document acumen according to the relevant ruznâmçe provisions and data. We sought answers to the questions of the aforementioned period and the institution by scanning and examining cross-sectionally limited archival documents within a temporal and spatial limitation. We had the opportunity to provide an original evaluation and information about the related book. Intra-institutional transitions and their reasons are discussed, especially since the ruznâmçe book we work with is the act ruznâmçe. Appointments from cadi to cadi, from professor to cadi and from professor to cadi were seen to be the most voluminous records in our book. It has been determined that these appointments are mostly direct or temporary. In addition, the transcription text of the notebook which is the subject of our study, has been added to our thesis.
