Abstract (EN)

Islam has a worldview that aims to make people live in a safe environment among reliable people throughout their lives. The principle of entrustment, which refers to a movement based entirely on trust, emerges in a fair society order, in the healthy functioning of this order and in the ordinary social relations of believers among themselves. Everything material and moral that is given to be returned to the person, both by Allah and by people, falls within the scope of trust. The fact that a person loses and decreases everything left to him, unfairly passes public property on him, does not keep his promise, does not fulfill religious orders, etc. falls into the content of betrayal, which is the opposite of the entrustment. In Islam, it was requested to stay away from all kinds of betrayal. In this study, the hadiths related to the concepts of trust and betrayal in the basic hadith sources, especially in Kütüb-i Sitte, were evaluated and the results that can be drawn from these concepts were mentioned. In the first part of the study; the importance and social dimension of the entrustment, betraying the entrustment item, wasting the entrustment item, not handing over the entrustment thing to its people, removing the entrustment, women whoese entrustment of ummah, the entrustment title of Hz. Prophet (pbuh), The entrustments left by the Hz. Prophet (pbuh) and the topics of material and spiritual entrustments were emphasized. In the second part, how the concept of betrayal found its place in the hadiths, the social damages of betrayal, the betrayal of the public property, the factors that caused betrayal and some examples of betrayal in history are mentioned. It has been emphasized what human beings will bring to human beings to embrace the entrustment and staying away from betrayal. While it is understood that the consciousness of entrustment should be at the center of a Muslim's life, it is concluded that betrayal should never occur in any part of their life.
