Abstract (EN)

The routes used to access the public transportation systems and the stops owned by these systems consist of areas where every segment of the society has the right to use them equally and should be planned and designed taking this right into account. In order for these routes to fully fulfill their accessibility and walkability function, they should be easily and easily accessible by all individuals forming the society, and at the same time they should be encouraging. In order to provide these two main features, the routes that can provide access to the station should be designed and arranged under the spatial and perceptual headings within the scope of accessibility and walkability indicators in a way that will allow all users to use them equally. In the changing and developing world order, public transportation, which connects the expanding and disconnected settlements, is gaining importance. In terms of access to public transportation system stops, the routes arranged within the scope of accessibility and walkability indicators are more preferred by users. Routes that provide access to the public transportation stop, which are intended to be used by all users who intend to use public transportation, are not always preferred as often as desired, and the user density is collected on one or more routes. With this thesis, it is aimed to develop a method that can evaluate the accessibility of the stops, whether the routes with high walkability quality, which meet the spatial and perceptual indicators used in accessing the light rail system public transportation stops, are preferred by users who want to access the station. The planning of this process and the design of the routes should not be handled only in terms of accessibility for users, but should be considered as safe, continuous, enriched with different functions and comfortable pedestrian spaces both in terms of physical qualities and perception.
