Abstract (EN)

Morphology, one of the basic elements of linguistics, is an important element of language. Sarf briefly examines the affixes, roots and word structure of a language. Syntax and semantics are the elements that support usage. Even though each unit of linguistics is examined as a separate unit, they interact with each other and bring together meaningful elements in the language. In this study, the work titled Türkçenin Sarfı, written by Hakkı Ateş for secondary education in 1925, was examined with philological and linguistic methods. The aim of the study was to determine the grammatical terms by comparing the Türkçenin Sarfı with other grammar books of the period. In the introduction section of the study, information about the consumption is given and a literature review is included, as well as information about the subject, purpose, limitations and method of the study. In the first part of the study, the text studied is translated into Latin letters. In the second part, the intralingual translation of the text is included. In the third section, it is examined under the title of Index of Terms under three subheadings: Ottoman-Turkish, Turkish-Ottoman and Proper Nouns. In the conclusion section, the findings were analyzed.
