The Textlingual Structure of Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil's Prose Poems-Sounds from the Grave

Language is the most important feature that distinguishes man from other living beings. It is not just a communication tool. It has a great role in forming thought, civilization and culture. From the past to the present, researchers have conducted studies on language. These studies were carried out primarily under the title of linguistics, then they were divided into linguistics subheadings. One of the subheadings is textulinguistics. In addition to finding the criteria that turn linguistic facts into texts in textulinguistics, texts and their relationships with the facts they refer to are also considered. The text studied is Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil's work "Mensur Poems- Voices from the Grave". This work is examined in five sections. In the first part, the life, art and works of Halid Ziya are mentioned. In the second part, the concepts of linguistics and texturology are focused on. In the third part, the views of the referential compatibility are given in a comprehensive way. In the fourth section, consistency views are discussed. Customization, cause-effect, comparison, time connection are examined. In the fifth section, the tones of the text are explained and the dominant tones in the work are explained. While examining the work Mensur Poems Voices from the Grave, the evaluation criteria included in Doğan Günay's work "Metin Bilgi" were used.
