Abstract (EN)
The main aim of this study is analyzing effects of blended learning onstudents? motivation and success. The lesson that planned according to blendedlearning approach evaluated in dimension of behaviour, success and reaction.According to blended learning approach both web based and face to face learningenvironments designed. In this aim, effectiveness of blended learning approach isevaluated on multiple levels. In this study, real experiment model is used. As a research model, pre- lasttest control grup model is used. Qualitative and quantitavive research models areboth used. An experimental study is done to undertsand if there is a meaningfuldifference between, academic success, motivation, evaluation and class whenblended and face to face learning models are used, and alsa a qualitative study doneto understand the reflections of students to learning in these two differentenvironments. This study was done on 22 control, 24 experiment group of Mathematicsteachers training departmant second year students at Gazi University, SecondaryScience-Maths Training department. And ?Computer Science-II? classes are chosenduring the test. The results of this study showed that, there is not a meaningful statisticaldifference on student?s academic success and motivation between teachingenvironmets of face to face and blended learning. But there is a meaningfuldifference on the permanence of knowledge And blended learning environmetstudents? average of general academic success in the middle exams showed ameaningful rise when compared with face to face model.Quantitative result of this study showed that, web based learning environmetoffers learner self pace study, different resources and self study opportunity. It can be suggested that, this study can be repeated according to the basics ofblended learning in different desings and with some settings that is outer ofclassroom with students.Key words: blended learning, web based learning, instructional techonology, motivation, four levels Kirkpatrick model.
