Approaches to social issues in the Hasan Basri Cantay's holy Qur'an and its gracious meaning and inthe commentaryof the Qur'anic way

In our study namely ?Approaches to Social Issues in the Hasan Basri Cantay?sHoly Qur?an and Its Gracious Meaning and in the Commentary of the Qur?anic Way?we have made some comparison to some social issues in two important books whichwas written in the beginning and the end of the Republic.In the first chapter, we have tried to give information about commentaries ofQur?an which was written in the same period. Consequently, it was seen that thereare a lot of works in the both ?Meaning? and ?Commentary? areas in this period. Latertwo works has been introduced in general and tried to information about theirmethods.In the second chapter, we have determined the topics and concepts which willbe compared and have studied on literature related to these topics and concepts.After this, it will be tried to deal with by comparing determined topics.In this comparison, we have established that there were evident differencesbetween commentaries and Quran translations on some topics like reincarnation,whether Jews and Christians may enter the paradise or not, bribery, make esthetics,covering, stoning, Parousia, testifying of women. We have tried to put thesedifferences between two works for consideration.In the Conclusion, we emphasized the main results we dealt with and mainpoints we reached. In doing so, firstly we have exposed differences of interpretationand later explained our preference.
