Total quaility management in hospitals and the Mardin Public Hospital application

In the twenty-first century, especially the health care sector in Turkey is experiencing rapid change. All institutions providing health cares hould renew themselves in order to provide better service and give importance to patient satisfaction. This is only possible with the quality of service. In this study, the obstaclesen countered during the implementation of total quality management have been identified especially.In the health care sector, especially in hospitals, the service and quality of service should be removed to highest levels. In conclusion, unless the necessary motivation is provided, the success is not possible. At the end of thesis, acquestionnaire was applied to examine the level of health services in Mardin State Hospital.Furthermore, areas in which they encounter problems have been identified.Accordingly, the necessary items have been described to eliminate the causes that negatively affect patient satisfaction.Additionally, the necessary studies for total quality management have been done in Mardin State Hospital, but the necessary success could not be provided so far.
