Abstract (EN)

Airports, as a sub-branch of air transportation sector, socially and environmentally negative effects to society while providing significant contributions to operate their region?s and the country's economy. Airport must fulfill its responsibilities to the society and the environment and all stakeholders. Economic, social and environmental terms is examined against the responsibilities of stakeholders of the airport under the name of corporate social responsibility should be evaluated under a new framework.Corporate social responsibility standards created international institutions practice in the airport systems, therefore first of all corporate image of airport operators will increase in global scope, effective and efficient activities will take place, in the transparent and accountable, reduction in the cost and an increase in profits will be. In this study, corporate social responsibility practices recently applied to airport systems of worldwide has been proposed to Turkish airport operatiors. Thus, Turkish airports will take advantage of businesses compete in the global market.
