Analysis of human factors in aviation accidents

The purpose of this study is to bring up the matter of human factorsin aviation accidents, to indicate the importance of location ofhuman factors in aviation accidents by touching on some issues inthe very large spectrum of that concept, and by means of this toassist developing a decision making system which could be aguidance to studies to be done in that subject matter. Human factorsin aviation are the study of human physiology and psychology as itrelates to the interaction of people with each other and machines inan abnormal environment so called flight. Human factors areimportant aspects of aviation mishap prevention. In this study, withan approach from general to relatively private prospects of humanfactors, presented that the accident statistics and the causes of theaccidents apply to worldwide commercial jet airplanes, Tenerifeaccident which is a significant example of human factors relatedaccidents, overlapping common points which are cumulated as aresult of assessments of aviation accidents and precautionarymeasures for flight safety, general information on accidents andhuman factors, biological boundaries of human beings. Assessedthat it is essentially important and achievable to prevent fromaviation accidents by having reached maturity supported withbackground and experience on human factors. This study is done toestablish a groundwork for coordinated studies of assorteddisciplines in the future by focusing on the importance of humanfactors in aviation accidents which have been located in the areaof transportation accidents.In this study, it is concluded that all events in aviation should becovered with system analysis approach, and designing personal safetyequipments (like airbags, improved safety belt systems) foraugmentation of passengers? self protection during collisions can beworked on.
