The ideology in animation cinema within the scope of lifelong learning

The purpose of this study, is examining whether an ideological orientation is done by using the learning ability through animation cinema on human being who learns throughout his life and thus renewing himself constantly; if such ideological orientation is done, then determining how much people are affected from such ideological orientation, whether they are aware that they are effected and examining what are considered as ideological messages in animation films by the people who live in Turkey. During the study, it has been used the domestic and foreign literatures and the opinions of experts in the field within the scope of the study screening model. Data collection model which is prepared with contribution of experts is applied to the primary school students who are in the last stage of their childhood and to the individuals in adulthood. In order to implement the survey, it is tried to be preferred residential areas in different socio-cultural and socio-economic levels. Therefore the participants of the survey are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students of Arjantin, Gazi, Fatih, Feride Bekçioğlu primary schools in Ankara province and the adult individuals who live in Ankara province. The survey is conducted in classrooms during course hours, under the supervision of teachers after explaining the reason of the survey to 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students and after taking permission of Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education. The answers of adult individuals are obtained directly on survey forms from randomly selected adults. According to the findings of the survey, it is noticed that there are messages which affect the value judgments of the audience in animation films. These messages are prepared considering that human being is able to learn and change himself accordingly; and included in lovely and funny world of animation in such way that impedes the audience to criticize them negatively in order to spread their ideological ideas. These messages -which are presented to the audience one after the other- are accumulated and after some time they impact as intensifier and can leave lasting impact especially on children. Today's children who are tomorrow's adults use this impact in all their decisions and actions in every period of their life without being aware of such impact. The lovely and funny world of animation cinema leaves a positive impact on individuals; thus it prevents itself from any criticism which may be done. The individual who accepts that he is under bombardment of impressive and orienting messages that affect his judgment values in all aspects of daily life; does not perceive animated films as a message delivery area. This unidirectional perception to animation films allows influencing more comfortably especially to the children.
