Childbirth in the context of transition periods in life "the case of Manavgat"

At the beginning of the essential elements that make up a society is the culture of that society. It is also possible to create and ignore a society with culture. People have felt the need to convey their feelings and thoughts in various ways throughout their lives. The most dynamic example of this is acts such as ritual, practice, practice and ceremony. Acts are the embodiment of a society. They have undertaken important tasks throughout the ages in terms of transmitting the core culture of the society to the next generations. In this study, "childbirth", which is one of the transition periods in the Manavgat region, is emphasized; the period in question was examined as prenatal, during birth and postpartum. In addition, in the study, how the changing social dynamics from the past to the present affect the "childbirth" acts and the results are revealed. In this research, field research and literature review were used as a method; The study was enriched by bringing together the source person interviews in the field and the literature data.
