Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out between the years 2014- 2015 on Hazro district of Diyarbakır; day and night butterflies of Lepidoptera; 16 families (Hesperiidae, Lycaenidae, Nymphalidae, Pieridae, Satyridae, Arctiidae, Cossidae, Crambidae, Erebidae, Geometridae, Lymantriidae, Noctuidae, Saturniidae, Sphingidae, Tineidae ve Tortricidae), 30 subfamilies and 51 genus in a total of 56 species were identified. The species being detected; synonyms and morphological characteristics the World and in Turkey the expansion. Some of the species identified in the study, Ocnogyna loewi (Hübner,1790) belonging to Arctiidae family, Tegostoma baphialis (Staudinger, 1871) belonging to Crambidae family, Camptogramma bilineata (Linnaeus,1758) belonging to Geometridae family, Lymantria lapidicola (Herrich-Schäffer, 1851) belonging to Lymantriidae family, Acronicta rumicis (Linnaeus,1758), Agrochola mansueta (Herrich-Schäffer,[1850]), A. pistacina (Goeze,1781), Allophyes asiatica (Staudinger,1892), Asteroscopus syriaca (W.Warren,1910), Catocala abacta Staudinger,1900, Dichonia aeruginea (Hübner,[1803]), Dicycla oo (Linnaeus,1758), Episema tersa ([Denis & Schiffermüller],1775), Hecatera dysodea (Vieweg,1790), Leucania punctosa (Treitschke,1825), Metalopha liturata (Christoph,1887), Mniotype solieri (Boisduval,1840), Noctua orbona (Hufnagel,1766), Polymixis spp. Hübner,[1820] and Zethes brandti Janzon,1977 belonging to Noctuidae family; Hapsifera luridella Zeller,1847 belonging to Tineidae families are carried a new record for Diyarbakır region.
