Story criticism in Syllable Story magazine (Nuts 51-100)

It can be said that the short story is the most common literary genre in modern literature after poetry and novel. From the beginning of the 20th century in modern Turkish literature, writers who are referred to as stories begin to appear. In the years following the Republic, there are good story writers in modern Turkish literature. Short stories, like poetry, meet readers in literary magazines and sometimes in newspapers. In modern Turkish literature, there have also been short story magazines such as Seçmiş Hikâyeler, Yaba Öykü, Adam Öykü that only published articles about short stories and short stories. There are different story magazines that continue to be published today. One of these magazines, Hece Öykü magazine, published its first issue in February 2004. The magazine, which has been publishing for nearly twenty years, published its 116th issue in April 2023. Each issue of the journal includes stories by different authors. Besides, Syllable Story; newly released story books, story writers of the day and the past, the theoretical aspect of the story, etc. It also deals with the type of story with articles about it. Story writers include interviews with story critics. In this study titled "Story Criticism in Hece Öykü Magazine (Issues 51-100)", the 51-100. The aim of this study is to index and evaluate the articles about the story in the magazine. The directory in question will provide easy access to the articles of interest in Hece Öykü for those who will do research on short stories. On the other hand, the study will evaluate the contribution of Hece Öykü to the modern Turkish story in terms of story criticism.
