In this study, hexachlorocylotriphosphazene (1) was reacted with 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde. From this reaction, hexakis[(4-formyl-2-methoxy)phenoxy] cyclotriphosphazene (2) was obtained. Hexakis[(4-(hydroxyimino)2-methoxy)phenoxy] cyclotriphosphazene (3) was synthesized from the reaction of 2 with hydroxlaminehydrochloride in pyridine.Compound 3 was reacted with benzyl chloride, acetyl chloride, allyl bromide, benzoyl chloride, propanoyl chloride, 4-methoxybenzoyl chloride, 2-chlorobenzoyl chloride, chloroacetyl chloride, methyl iodide and thiophene-2-carbonyl chloride.Hexasubstituted compounds were obtained from the reactions of 3 with acetyl chloride, allylbromide, propanoylchloride, 4-methoxybenzoylchloride, chloroacetylchloride and methyliodide via all of the oxime protons replacement with alkyl or acyl groups. Trisubstitued compound with benzyl chloride, tetrasubstituted compounds with 2-chlorobenzoyl chloride and thiophene-2-carbonyl chloride, pentasubstituted compound with benzoyl chloride were obtained from the reactions of 3.The structure of the compounds were defined by elementel analysis, IR, 1H, 13C, and 31P-NMR spectroscopy.
