Abstract (EN)
Helicobacter pylori is a Gram-negative pathogen that colonizes the stomach of approximately half of the world's population. Helicobacter pylori is the most frequent and significant factor in the etiology of chronic active gastritis, in addition to being implicated in various illnesses such as peptic ulcer, gastric adenocarcinoma, and MALT lymphoma (mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma), even in the pathogenesis of some extragastric diseases.In this study, we made a detailed inflammatory cell analysis by using ,Giemsa histochemically and CD3, CD4, CD5, CD8, CD10, CD20, CD68, CD79 ? and CD138 stains immunohistochemically on 100 h. pylori positive chronic gastritis cases and 20 h. pylori negative gastritis cases of the pathology department of Medical Faculty of Dicle University.CD138 positive plasma cells has the highest density between the inflammatory cell types. Also we determined that the plasma cells are present with the highest density in the group H. pylori 3+ when compared with the other groups. Between the groups there are statistically no any difference of CD20 and CD79 ? stains which we use to stain B lymphocytes. Although the rations of CD20 staining is slightly higher, we determined that CD20 ve CD79 ?? staining rations is corelated. As well as there is no any significant difference of T lymphocyte density of CD3 stain between the groups, when subsets of T lymohocytes are examined we determined that the density of the T helper lymohocytes that is stained by CD4 and the density of cytotoxic T lymohocytes that is stained by CD8 decreases when h pylori colonization density increases. CD10 is an antibody which stains the germinal central cells and is negative in MALT lymphomas. In our study we monitored an increase in number of cases which has germinal central cells that are stained by CD10 but this increase doesn?t exist in the group h pylori 3+. We determined that the numbers of CD5 positive lymohocytes are decreased when the amount of CD5 that is also an antibody which is negative in MALT lenfoma and amount of the h pylori increaes.Key words, H. pylori, gastritis, MALT lymphomas, CD3, CD4, CD5, CD8, CD10, CD20, CD68, CD79 ????
