Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, synthesis of 3 different perylene diimide molecules was carried out. Amine compounds used to form diimide; 1-isobutyl 1H-benzimidazole-2-amine, 1-propyl 1H-tetrazole-5 amine and N- (3-Aminopropyl) morpholine. The characterization of the molecules is done by using FT-IR, 1H NMR, UV-Vis. The amine compounds used contain heteroatoms. Generally, perylene diimide molecules have solubility problems. Diimide molecules obtained with 1-isobutyl 1H-benzimidazole-2-amine and N- (3-Aminopropyl) morpholine were found to have better solubility in synthesized perylene diimide compounds. Absorption and emission spectra of the 3 different synthesized perylene diimide derivatives were taken. Photophysical properties were determined. Typically, typical absorption peaks of the perylene diimide molecule have been observed. Molar absorption coefficient for B-PER molecule 35600 l/moL-1.cm-1, molar absorption coefficient for T-PER molecule 48100 l/moL-1.cm-1, molar absorption coefficient for M-PER molecule It was calculated as 28400 l/ moL-1.cm-
