Relations of Khorasan and Iraq Seljukid states between Abbasid caliphate (429-590/1038-1194)

The history of Seljuks that took place with important developments in the history of Turkish-Islam is stated as the subject of many researchers. Along with the conquests and those of Iraq, Iran, Syria and Anatolia, the Seljuks gave direction to the world of Turkish-Islam with political, military, administrative, social and cultural departments and left a deep impression. We also wanted to draw an attention and create awareness by preparing a study on the relations between the Khorasan and the Iraqi Seljuk State-Abbasid Caliphate which we consider that the History of the Seljuks is overshadowed compared to the other periods. Immediately after the establishment of the Horasan Seljuks with 431/1040 the Dandanakan War, the Seljuk-Abbasid relations that started with the loss of power and the invasion of the Abbasid Khilafah, who was oppressed under the pressure of Buveyhî, invited Tuğrul Bey to Baghdad, resulted in Sultan Tuğrul receiving the secular powers of Abbasid caliphs. The establishment of the Iraqi Seljuk State had always provided them with the opportunity they had been looking for and with the existence of the souls of the Abbasid caliphs who had exhibited good relations during the Horasan Seljuk period. As a result, we can see that the purpose of the Abbasid caliphs is not only to withdraw their secular powers, but also to pull Turks out of this region.
