Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical, radiological and functional results of patients treated with different methods in our clinic with proximal humerus fracture. A total of 106 patients who were diagnosed with proximal humerus fractures and scheduled for treatment between January 2010 and September 2018 were included in the study. For this purpose, patient files, X-RAY radiographs, operation notes and hospital exit epicrises were used in PACS system. The functional results of the patients were evaluated according to the Constant Shoulder Scoring at the last follow-up. The mean age of the patients was 53.6 years (17-94). The mean follow-up period was 11.3 months (6-40 months). According to Neer classification, 55 patients (%51.9) had Type II, 35 patients (%33) had Type III and 16 patients (%15.1) had Type IV humeral proximal end fractures. According to Constant-Murley 'scoring average of the patients included in the study was 64.50 (31-88). The score distribution of the patients according to Neer classification; Constant-Murley score median of patients with Type II fracture was 74.00 (36-88), Constant-Murley score median of patients with Type III fracture 61.00 (31-78), Constant-Murley score median of patients with Neer Type IV fracture 44.50 (33-70). When we compare the fracture type and functional outcome of the patients, the functional outcome decreased as the fracture type increased. In younger patients, it was follow good functional results than older patients. humeral In the proximal fractures, the fracture type and morphology should be well defined and classified. The functional result decreases as the fracture type increases. Keyword; Humerus proximal fracture, Neer classification, Constant-murley score
