Isnad-text analysis of related riwayes on theweeping after dead in the context of Hz. Aisha's (Ra) objection

The Humankind has been confronting with reality of death since Adam which is an integral part of the concept of life. So long as people change it over time, they have developed some rituals about death have brought from beliefs and culture. Thus, among these practices, actions such as bathing of dead body, enshrouding of dead body, funeral ceremony, funeral prayer, burial or cremation of the dead body, advicing to dead, mourning to dead, lamention to dead can be mentioned. This study is subjected to mourning and lamentation practices after dead in the hadith literature. Even though it is strictly forbidden to lament after dead, the riwaye of chastisement of the dead due to the lamentation process, remains contraversial and keeps its topicality nowadays since the period of the companions. The isnad-text study, which will help to understand these riwayes, has been viewed as an essential and subjected to this essay. Within the context of the Aisha (r.a.)'s objection all variants of the hadiths related to lamentation after dead meticulously have been collected from the literature. In this thesis, the hadiths composed of reliable ravis were identified and these hadiths were included in the text analysis in the light of obtained data where the credibility of ravis and their transmitted texts are examined. With comparing in tables form of the hadith texts, it has been identified redundancies, shortcomings, retrenchment of ravis and the historical of hadith.
