Vocabulary of Hizrî's Tîg ü Kalem's debate

In this study, which was prepared as a master's thesis, the index of the work named Hızrî Münazara-i Tîg ü Kalem, which was written in 1568 in Classical Ottoman Turkish and which deals with the debate between the representative heroes, the sword and the pen, was created and its vocabulary was examined. The study consists of four main parts: First part; It has been discussed under four sub-titles as Introduction, Debate Term and Arabic, Debate in Persian Literature, Sword and Pen Debates in Turkish Literature, Hızrî ve Munazara-i Tîg ü Kalem. The second part is evaluated under two titles as Vocabulary and Vocabulary in Münazara-i Tîg ü Kalem. Vocabulary of the work has been examined under 14 titles: Nouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Pronouns, Adverbs, Conjunctions, Prepositions, Interjections, Proverbs, Idioms, Reduplications, Relationship Words (Phrases), Verses, Hadith and Prayer Expressions, Arabic-Persian Compositions. In the review, 3488 words were identified. The Third Chapter is covered under two headings, the Index and the Proper Names Index. Proper Names Directory within itself; It has been evaluated under six titles as Personal Names, Place Names, Language and Nation Names, Legendary Place Names, Planet Names, Religion and Faith-Related Names. A total of 767 sub-items per 2548 items were identified in these indexes. Finally, the evaluative result obtained from the study and the bibliography of the works benefited from are given.
