Ibn Abdus-salam (Died after 660/1262) siyar title "Bidayetü's-sûl fî tafdîli'r-Rasul"

The Mamluks, who obtained their place in the history scene as a Muslim Turkish state between the dates of 648-923/1250-1517, are important in terms of Islamic Historiography, considering the achievements and historiography in their own period. Once we need to obtain the life of Profet Muhammad and about people who affiliated with Islam, for certain we retain to the Sirah that have been written in the Mamluks period, it's considered the most fullfil ages for this kind of information especially for the first twenty three years of Islam. The purpose of this research is to look at the writing of the sirah in Mamluk geography, with a focus on Ibn Abdusselam, in the VIII. (XIV.) century, and the exemplary nature of Islamic religion in the eyes of historiographers of the time. Its purpose is to investigate the prophet's viewpoint. The scientific life of the Mamluks period and the sirah writing until this period were mentioned in general terms after the subject, purpose, scope, method, introduction of the source, and presentation of the researches on the subject were mentioned in the introductory part of the study, after the subject, purpose, scope, method, introduction of the source, and presentation of the researches on the subject Subsequently, in the first chapter, after giving information about Ibn Abdüsselam's life, scientific personality and life, the Bidayetü's-sûl fî tafdili'r-Rasûl work was examined in terms of its general characteristics, content, procedure and sources. This work is a biography, which we examined in the second part, is the work of Ibn Kathir (d. 774/1373) al-Fusûl fî sîreti'r-Rasûl, one of his contemporaries. It has been discussed in a comparative way in terms of certain features with the part in which the Prophet devoted his life and virtues.
