Abstract (EN)

II. Assembly building, Halk Fırkası Mahfeli (People'sParty Center) wasstartedto be constructed. As theconstruction of thebuildingcontinuesto be a very nice shape of thebuilding of thebuildingwasthe idea of theMahfel. Itwascompletedto a shortperiod of time by Architect Vedat Tek in 1923. Grand National Assembly RepublicanPeople'sPartydesigned, however, the First Grand National Assembly to a lack of buildinganddevelopingtomeettheneeds of theRepublic of Turkey has undergonechangesduetothe Assembly, then II. Theandesiteshowthatentrancewasinactive in thesix-step staircasesmadewithstoneblocks. Theentrancetothe main street on thesoutheastside of thebuilding is arranged as a portal (crowndoor). The Assembly continueditsactivities in thisbuildinguntil 1960. Itwasbuiltwithcutstone on twofloors. Thearchesseen in thewindowsreflectthecharacteristics of the I. National Architecture Movement, thewoodenpavementsdecoratingthepencilworksusingOttomanandSeljukmotifs on widefacadesandtilepanels on thefacades. Interiors of thebuildingarearranged on threesides of thecentral Assembly Hall, whererisestwofloors. Inthisstudy, Ceilingdecorations of II. Assembly Buildingwereanalyzedbyexaminingthestylescompleteness, motif characteristics, colorsused in decorations. As a result of theexamination of thestyle of decorationwe can say thatthat is similartothepencilworks on centuries of 17.-18.
