Difference equations have been applied in several mathematical models in biology, economics, genetics, population dynamics, probability theory, sociology,psychology, and so forth. For this reason, recently there has been a great interest in studying difference equations. This study consists of four sections. Inthe …first section, general informations were given about the difference equationsand a summary of literature on nonlinear difference equations was given. Inthe second section, general de…nitions and theorems about difference equationswere given. In the third section, of the x(n+1) =a+ (x(n-1)/x(n))equation, andin the forth section of the x(n+1)=a+(x(n-1)/x(n))^p equation the behaviour ofpositive solutions of difference equations are discussed.
