Abstract (EN)
Food security is defined as the humanitarian access to healthy and nutritious food which is necessary for individuals to survive in a healthy way. There are many factors that affect food safety. Climate change is one of the factors that clearly affect the nature of food safety. In this context, food safety and climate change, which are related to each other and threaten both human health and the world, are discussed in this study. The effects of climate change on food safety were emphasized. National and international developments on the issue, agreements made, the institutions and organizations struggling, as well as solution proposals were included. Aim of this thesis is to perform the analysis of global, national and local scale policies for Turkey through detailed examination of the effects of climate change on food safety.
