Özet (EN)
This study is a cross-sectional study conducted with 734 students studying in the spring semester of 2023-2024 at Yozgat Bozok University. The study aimed to evaluate the impact of the climate crisis on university students in terms of eco-anxiety. The data were obtained using the sociodemographic characteristics of the participants and the Eco-Anxiety Scale; the analysis of the study was done with the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) for Windows 22.0 program. The data had a normal distribution and Independent Groups TTest, One-Way Anova, Chi-Square tests, and Pearson Correlation analysis tests were applied to determine the relationship between the scale and its sub-dimensions. As a result of the analysis; eco-anxiety levels were found to be higher in male students, in the 25-31 age group, in low-income students, in those with high school graduate parents, in students studying at an associate degree and in the field of educational sciences. The results show that in addition to individual environmental sensitivity, sociodemographic factors also have an effect on ecoanxiety. 2025, xi+ 67 Pages Keywords: Eco-anxiety, Climate change, Climate anxiety, University student
