Turkey's position with respect to education between economic cooperation and development OECD member countries

It is wrong to see education only as an individual benefit. Education is one of the important factors that are; countries have a good position in the international arena, to increase in national income, to increasing the welfare of people living in that country, to increase in literacy rates which is one of the indicators of social development level, the recovery of the economy by producing goods and services with high market value. The aim of this study, from OECD countries and other countries that are included in the analysis, using the education indicator for 2016, will compare the education levels of Turkey and OECD countries. And to determine the position of Turkey relative to other countries. For this purpose, which is one of the multivariate statistical clustering methods, was used in analysis. In the analysis, clustering method was used to determine how similar or distant the countries are in terms of educational indicators. As a result of the study, countries were divided into five clusters. Turkey has taken place individually in fifth set. It was concluded that Turkey's used in terms of education level is quite far from the OECD and other countries.
