Abstract (EN)
The scholars, who acted with the aim of understanding the basic sources of the religion in the most accurate way in the early periods of Islam, have not seen any inconvenience in resorting to the narrations originating from the People of the Book when they felt the need. For this reason, it is possible to find narrations arising from the People of the Book very often in the works of scholars working especially in the field of Quranic exegesis and hadith. However, it is common knowledge that scholars who specialize in fields other than the aforementioned disciplines also use such narrations from time to time. Among these, the texts written by the writer sufis who lived in the formation and development periods of sufism are particularly noteworthy. In the respective works, from time to time, the aforementioned narrations have been consulted in the context of the interpretation of the views expressed by the sufis regarding the concepts such as especially morality, prayer, asceticism, God-consciousness, gratitude, trust in God etc.. Therefore, the narratives technically called "Isra'iliyyat" (Narrations from the People of the Book) occupied an important place in the explanation of many mystical issues that occupied the agenda in the above-mentioned phase. The reflection of these on later sufi works is important to be a separate subject of study.
