Abstract (EN)
In this study The achievement of the activities in the second grade Turkish Student Work Book?s activities For Primary school is researched. Ten Second grade teachers that work in Elazığ, İstanbul, Bingöl and Adıyaman provinces were interviewed with the qualitative research approach. The teachers were asked the questions of the interview form and the obtained data were themed with codification using the qualitative data analysis technique. Observation forms used as altered method. These observation forms were used in a village school which is in the Beykoz Distirct of İstanbul. These observation forms? qualitative aspects of content analysis was performed. The observation forms were used to make inference about how much the students achieve. The achievements specified one by one on high rate and low rate with the help of the obtained data content analysis.The followings are the results of the research:1.There are difficulties in the practice of the activities in the Turkish Student Work Book especially for the students who are educated in the schools that are placed in rural area.2.It is generally accepted by the teachers that the activities of the Turkish Student Course Book activities appropriate for second grade students level.3.Activities seem applicable but there are also some difficulties. Especially there are some problems occur because of parental indifference, lack of time, deficient of equipment, the activities which needs to use dictionary and the difference between the native language and education language.4.It is observed that the activities in the students book generally appropriate with the aimed achievements.5.It is seen that the activities generally carry out the achievement but there are some problems with the writing achievements such as punctuation and spelling.6.It is determined that the participation of the activities shows differences according to the subject.7.The activities are sufficient according to quantity. But it is determined that there are not sufficient activities about grammar.8.Second grade Turkish Syllabus also use the theory of multiple intelligence to guide the students according to their abilities. There are achievements according to the theory of multiple intelligence and activities to gain that achievements in the syllabus. It is determined that teachers studies according to visual, rhythmic, verbal, logical, social intelligence areas.9.It is observed that the teachers usually did not do enough assessment and evaluation studies about whether the activities gained the determined achievements or not and did not follow the students performances in the process.10.It is appeared that most of the students had difficulties about reading and writing at the beginning of the second grade. It is determined that the activities are not sufficient to eliminate these problems.11.In the result of the evaluation of the observation forms it is observed that:?According to the listening, reading and writing achievement close to half the class in adequate level?According to speaking achievement most of the class in moderate level?According to visual reading and visual presentation achievement most of the students are successful or moderate level.Key Words: Curriculum, achievement, activity, 2.
