In this study, primary 6th, 7th and 8th grade students? in metacognitive awareness were examined. The subject participated in this study were three private schools and 372 students in the center of Aydın, two schools and 276 students to the center of Aydın and two schools and 327 students to the center of socio-economic level. In this study, descriptive research design was used. At the first sub-problem it was aimed to explain and screening significant differences in metacognitive awareness by gender is intended to reveal in primary 6, 7 and 8 grade of students?. In the second sub-problems with the primary 6, 7 and 8 levels of metacognitive awareness of students according to grade level is to determine whether there is a significant relationship. In the third sub-problem with the primary 6, 7 and 8 Schools where students metacognitive awareness of the socio-economic environment is aimed to test whether there is a significant influence on. In the fourth sub-problem with the primary 6, 7 and 8 metacognitive awareness of students according to the variable levels of success was to reveal whether there is a significant difference.
