Abstract (EN)
Aim: Examine the effect of 6th and 7th grades of problem solving skills in students a tactical game approach Materials and methods: The research has been carried out with 60 in total, consisting 35 girls and 25 boys, who attend the 6th and 7th grade in Manisa. The student's problem solving skills are used in measuring the scale consisting of 24 items developed by Serin O. and Serin B. N. (2010). Problem solving inventory for children applied in the first week on test, according to the test results the lowest, the highest and mid rate experimental and control groups were formed from students. The experimental group was given practical training related to eight weeks with a tactical game approach. Practical training was given by the researcher outside of class for two days per week and eighty minutes per a day. The control group has been given any training application. When training application is over, post test has been done to both the experimental group and the control group. Findings: The data obtained was evaluated in the SPSS (version 15) program. The illustrative statistics in the data of the research were via the Mann-Whitney U, Wilcoxon Signed Ranks and T test for related samples. The experimental group's pre/post test average scores rise was seen (x= x=89.03; x= x=95.40). This increase is statistically significant ( t=-2.604, p=0.014). The control group's pre/post test average scores has fallen (x=90.16, x=85.53). This decline isn't statistically significant (t=1.774, p=0.087) Results: Tactical game approach based on practical training, we can say that students in the experimental group developed their problem solving skills.
