Teachers? views related to the 8th grade primary school students? missconception in the History of Turkey Republıc Revolution and Kemalism course

The overall objective of this study is to determine the social studies course teachers? views related to the misconception of 8th grade primary school students in the History of Turkish Republic Revolution and Kemalism Course.In this study, a survey consisting of 36 questions was prepared to determine the social studies course teachers? views related to the misconception of8th grade primary school students in the History of Turkish Republic Revolution and Kemalism Course. With the prepared questions the followings were aimed to determine among the views of the social studies course teachers related to the misconception of 8th grade primary school students in the History of Turkish Republic Revolution and Kemalism Course;?Whether there is a meaningful difference according to the gender variance,?Whether there is a meaningful difference according to the seniority variance,?Whether there is a meaningful difference according to the neighborhood variance which the school located in,?Whether there is a meaningful difference according to the graduated department variance.For the content validity of the survey, experts? opinions were collected. Additionally, in the validity study of the survey, SSPS 17 Packet Program was made use of and cronbahch alfa rate was found as ?:0,89. T test, for independent groups and Anova test for unrelated groups were also made use of in statistically evaluation process of the data.According to the findings obtained as a result of the research, a meaningful difference wasn?t determined among the views of the social studies course teachers related to the misconception of 8th grade primary school students the History of Turkish Republic Revolution and Kemalism Course. It was also found that teachers are of the opinion that student?s characteristics, teacher?s characteristics, features of the teaching and learning context, education conditions, socio-economical environment and lesson plan are effective.
