Evaluation of primary school levels elective lessons evaluation criterias to teachers and school managers

In the way of science & technology, we are living in an age in which rapid –improvement occurs. This rapid–improvement pin down some changes in many branches as well as in education. Coach the Individuals suitable to segments' expectation to technological development is in the main problems of educational institutions. Educational institutions tries to carry out these duties by classes within and extracurricular activities. When the lessons splitting up issue taken into consideration, with two dimensions studies, individuals are made to get ready for the life. Besides the compulsory lessons in our educational system, elective lessons' existence convenient to self-governing grasp support this idea. Yet another idea related to elective lessons is towards to prepare the students to real life and is useful to reveal their interests and skills. Elective lessons start with secondary schools and continue at high school and universities. These lessons free elections and taught productively is very important. The lack of expert staff, the ceaselessly changes on lessons, the lack of instruments' trouble brings to mind if the mission taken over responsibility on elective lessons fulfilled or not. Search is planned by this problem. The dimensions related to the elective lessons evaluated to the teachers and executives 'views. Research-browsing model is performed on Elazığ and Bingöl city centers and some counties of these two provinces 230 teachers and 15 school managers. On the research- elective lessons election criteria assigning-questionnaire is used which is developed by Demirbaş (2008) as a data collection device. Some of the finding reached on the research are given below : • When the teachers' views intended to questionnaire items searched related to gender –variety in comparison ,no meaningful difference watched for . • In comparison, In terms of teaching style varieties of the schools, between the boarding schools and dual teaching meaningful difference is seen and this meaningful difference is in favour of boarding schools. • To the teachers and the managers, the lack of instruments and places at school are of top priority to perform the elective lessons. • While to the teachers' views searched about elective lessons designation at first schools' facilities dominates, to managers this stated as students' wills. • Both by teachers and by school managers on the elections of the teachers, the lessons' suitability of the branch of the teacher is paid attention. • Besides, the result is; teachers teaches lesson at elective lessons with the exception of his/her branch.
