Place of traditional Turkish arts in the curriculum of art class at the second level of primary education the sample of Zeynep Mustafa Kemer Secondary School

Mankind has brought along with his own handicrafts and cultures from past to present. As a culture factor, handicrafts Show the intelligence and living level of that community. Handicrafts, handed down from generation to generation and an important value, will build a bridge between past and future and it is important growing youth who will maket his bridge without losing national value and culture. the generation that keeps pace with the same speed of developing technology in today's World, it has been observed that the digital addiction of the distance learning of the last last education year. It is impossible to ignore the adverse situations of technology and digital World without ignoring the benefits of it. Because of these adverse situations it is shown clearly that youth are insufficient in emotion skiils, craftmanship, communication skills and produring presenting a product. While growing healthy individual being exposed to quality and rich stimuli it is accepted to be succesfull and compatible both individual and in a team. As per the age group, when they are quite active the multitude and variety of artistic activities support the child positively in both spiritual and physical way. The aim of art education is to grow individluals who are productive, confident and who give importance to culture and ensure the continuation. In this context, tradional Turkish arts is an important subject that must be given importance in education for the future of our country. In this research the lack of teaching traditional handicrafts at second primary education art classes is indicated.
