The data of the study were collected by The MathematicAcademic Achievement Test and Mathematics Studing Strategies Scala in five oflikert type. The Mathematic Academic Achievement Test consisting of 25 questionsdeveloped by the researcher was aplied to having determined the success level of thestudents. In order to determine the mathematic studing strategies which of thestudents using consisting of 35 The Mathematics Studing Strategies Scala.According to the findings gained from the study;1. The results in the study indicated that found the students mostly userepetition strategies, time management strategies , elaboration strategies and at least, however, they use test strategies and metacognitive strategies.2. The results indicated that the condition of using studying strategies ofmathematics according to sex shows a significant difference in favour of the malestudents in the dimensions of time management strategies, metacognitive strategies, organizational strategies and test strategies. As for the elaboration and repetitionstrategies, however, a significant difference was not found.3. The results indicated that there was a significant difference between the 7thand 8th class in terms of using study strategies displays a significant difference infavour of the 8th class students only in the dimension of time management strategies. In the other dimensions ,however, a significant difference was not found.4. The results indicated that the students? behaviour of using studyingstrategies of mathematics according to their academic achievement level shows asignificant difference in favour of the students ,whose academic achievement areadvanced, in the lower dimensions of time management strategies, elaborationstrategies, organizational strategies, repetition strategies and test strategies. As for theusage of metacognitive strategies , however, a significant difference was not found.5. The results indicated that the students? mathematics grades and behaviourof using studying strategies of mathematics display a significant difference in favourof the students ,whose school report grades are high, in the lower dimensions of timemanagement strategies, elaboration strategies, organizational strategies, repetitionstrategies and test strategies. In the lower dimension of metacognitive strategies, onthe other hand, a significant difference was not found.6. The results indicated that a significant difference in the condition of usingstudying strategies of mathematics according to the education status of the students?parents could be found. A significant difference was only found in the lowerdimension of elaboration strategies according to the parents? education level.Key words: Studing Strategies, Learning Mathematics, Learning Strategies.
