Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to examine the feedback given by primary school mathematics teachers to homework from the perspective of teachers and students and to reach their thoughts about feedback. The study carried out for this purpose was carried out in the form of a case study, which is a qualitative research model. The sample of the study consisted of six mathematics teachers and six eighth grade students in four secondary schools in Elazığ province. In order to reach the thoughts of teachers and students about feedback, teachers and separate students were interviewed by focus groups over separate internet. The data obtained as a result of the focus group interviews were divided into categories and interpreted. According to the findings of the research conducted with teachers, all teachers give feedback, but they experience difficulties due to factors such as the crowding of the classes and the density of the curriculum. In the research, what teachers pay attention to when giving feedback, how often they give feedback, what kind of problems they experience, how they give feedback are among the other data obtained. According to the findings of the research conducted with the students, it is among the answers given by the majority of the students that the feedback must be. In addition, students were asked questions parallel to the questions asked to the teachers, and different data were obtained from the students.
