Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this research was to the effects of fifth grade students participation in social activities on their academic achievement.Education is a process that continues as long as the lifetime and that process include many behaviour which is gained outside of classes. This research, examine the effects of students participation in social activities on their academic achievement. This process explained by mastery learning model, affective step to make the target response contect between step in understanding the cognitive field. This is a descriptive study, the scale which is developed by researcher, is about participatin in social activities and form of personal information are applied in samples of the research. The data were analyzed by running Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS 15.0) program. During the analyze, arithmetic mean, standart deviation ,t test for gender variable, parents?education level, family?s monthly income, analysis of variance for lessons achievement are used. Scheffe test is used for determine the significance of contact between the groups. Contact between academic achievement and scale of participation social activities is done by correlation analysis.
