Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to determine the teachers' opinions on the implementation of Individualized Education Program (BEP) for teachers working in elementary education schools. During the study carried out in Devrek District of Zonguldak Province in 2017-2018 school year, interviews were conducted with 12 teachers working in different schools and branches. This research is a qualitative study designed within a phenomenological framework. The interview form developed by the researcher was used to collect the data of the study. Before finalizing the interview form, six experts' opinions were used. The duration of the interviews was between 15 and 20 minutes. A qualitative content analysis approach was used to analyze the data obtained. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the teachers encountered various problems such as shortage of time for the application process of the BEP, lack of awareness of parents, inadequate training and seminars, lack of knowledge, problems experienced during the reporting period. Besides; Teachers do not think that inclusive education is useful in its current form. In the light of results, the teachers recommend that the training on BEP should be sufficient, each school should have support rooms, the school and the family cooperation should be strengthened.
