The evaluation of teacher's view about the proficiency of activating ethic conscious of primary programs the sample of -Diyarbakır

ABSTRACTThe general purpose of the research is to describe whether the current primaryeducation programs applied in Turkey are guided the ethical coordinates surroundingthe human existence through an approach of external forming or through a style ofawakening the natural values scale in proactive consciousness and also to describe theachievement of both purposes within the framework of teachers? views in the exampleof Diyarbakır. Being aware of the strategic importance of the primary education amongall training levels, in line with the general purposes of the research, the method ofethical training followed in the primary education programs related to awakening theethical value, the changing history of the primary education programs within TurkishNational Training System and the current primary education program have beenscrutinized and it has also been tried to find out which works could make the ethicaltraining more useful.The research covers 335 teachers working at primary schools located in thecentral part of Diyarbakır. In order to analyze the data, frequency, percentagedistribution, Independent Samples T-test and One-Way ANOVA tests have been used.The current table arising from the gathered findings is that, in respect of their attitudetowards the importance of ethical concept and its conceptual dimension, teachers areputting a perspective parallel with the approach of ?innocent at birth?. In the subject ofthe ethical concept consolidation, consensus could not be ensured as it is ensured inrespect of ethical concept; it can be even said that it is contradictory. To acquirebehavior during the ethical concept consolidation has been examined in cognitive,hearing and psycho-motor dimensions. Expressing that external training is needed inacquiring ethical behavior, teachers put forward that they are in need of cognitivetransformation. That they agree with the necessity of supporting the cognitive learningthrough activities apart from courses is the indication that they attach importance topsycho-motor behavior and their belief that model behavior is effective in acquiring theethical behavior is another indication that they attach importance to hearing learning.The agreement on the impossibility of the realization of acquiring behavior with onlyone of these dimensions points that the teachers are highly conscious of the subject oftraining.Keywords: Ethics, Ethical, Ethical Training, Training Ethics.
