Describing the teachers view about the rate of achievement of aim in "the revolation history of the Turkish Rebuplic and principlesuf Atatürk" course

The general aim of this research is to describe success rate of achievement of aim of ?TheRevolution History of The Turkish Republic and Principles of Atatürk? course according to differentvariables, regarding to teachers view, only in Diyarbakır region. In this regard; first section of theresearch is assigned to theoritical analysis of the sufficiency of representation of related course and itsvision in time extent as a political cultirilization tool of main vision of The Revolution History of theTurkish Republic and Principles of Atatürk course in primary school program as a strategical step ofTurkish educational system and the oritical analysis of subjective and objective components effectingthis sufficiency. In the second part of the research it is focused on hypothesis test that will take outupdated profile regarding to success rate of achievement of aim of The Revolution History of theTurkish Republic and Principles of Atatürk course from sample space including teacher?s view inDiyarbakır.The study includes 103 teachers, who teach the course ?The Revolution History of theTurkish Rebuplic and Principles of Atatürk? (8th grade) in the educational year of 2005-2006 inDiyarbakır. 24 item - Data Collecting Tool developed by my supervisor, Prof.Dr. HasanAKGÜNDÜZ, is utilized in this research. In this, firstly, data coming from the primary schools in theregion of central Diyarbakır are recorded after those data are analysed using the software - SPSS.Frequency, percentage distribution, Independent Samples T-test and One-way ANOVA tests are usedin order to analyse the data. Significancy level is taken as 0,05.As a result of the hypothesis test, the critical outcomings point out that The Revolution Historyof the Turkish Republic and Principles of Atatürk course is thought as primarily political culturalisation tool in primary school like other education levels, theoritical studies are partially supported bypractical issues and currently, The Revolution History of the Turkish Republic and Principles ofAtatürk course is at theoratical level, however it will reach transforming power that will arisenationalism understanding beyond just theoratical level in case of educational experiences areeffective/in accord with its subjective/objective components.
