Problems of the transported education students in primary schools

This study is carried out to reveal the pluses and minuses of transported education which is in practice in our Primary Schools.In our country, The Ministry of National Education performs different applications in order to provide everyone with fair education opportunities. And ?Transported Education? is one of them. In this study, the positive and negative aspects of this practice was determined based on the views of the directors, teachers, students and parents.This is a screening model study. The scale factors of director-teacher views and students? views, parent-teacher meeting forms which are prepared by the researcher were carried out in the given samples, and the data acquired were analyzed by the statistic program SPSS 15.0. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, analysis of variance and correlation analysis were utilized during the analysis. The datum which came up as a result of this analysis were determined as the results, and the findings and interpretations based on these results were presented.The primary goal is to determine the negative aspects of the practice and take the lead in the studies enhancing them by starting from those positive and negative aspects. Some findings of the study are these: When we look for students; boys have more negative ideas than girls about transported education. Also the students in 8. class are more negative ideas than the other students. The students who transport from far places have negative ideas too. When we look for directors and teachers; teachers have more positive ideas about transported education. This study showed that directors, teachers, student and parents think transported education system should be continue but after some negative aspects (about transport and nutrition) remove. Based on the findings that were achieved at the end of the study, suggestions were brought forward and were presented in this study.
