The image of Peter the Great and Frederick the Great in the eighteenth century Ottoman history sources

In this research, the informations which about Peter the Great and Frederick the Great in the Ottoman history sources written in the Eighteenth century, are going to be examined in detail; and while their reforms that made in their states is being examined one by one in a seperate part in this study, how these informations are reflected in the Ottoman history sources, and the images of Peter the Great and Frederick the Great in the eyes of the Ottoman historians and the Sublime Porte will be discussed in this research. In the light of the information contained in these sources, the similarities and the differences arising from the comparison of the Peter the Great and Frederick the Great will be addressed to the following questions how the Ottoman sources are reflected and what extent to the Sublime Porte had knowledge of the countries aroud it in the Eighteenth century.
