The impact of knowledge management strategy on organizational growth and development of SMEs in Kano state, Nigeria

The research investigated the impact of knowledge management strategies on the organizational growth and development of SMEs in Kano State, Nigeria, with the intention of producing a wide array of deleterious results. Nevertheless, only a few studies have been conducted to examine such a research topic within our scope of research. However, the current study aims to examine the impact of knowledge management strategies on the organizational growth and development of SMEs in Kano State, Nigeria. The current study has been carried out through a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 150 respondents, all of whom work in SMEs in Kano State. The study's target population included senior managers, middle managers, administrative staff, and subordinates. The study findings showed that managers face difficulties in the applicability of knowledge management strategies to aid in the growth and development of SMEs in Kano State. Moreover, the study demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between knowledge management strategies and the organizational growth and development of SMEs in Kano State. The findings of this study clarify that management must take into consideration the knowledge management issues regarding the workplace and their profound impact on staff members and the entire SMEs. Thus, future studies should examine how leadership affects knowledge management and organizational development.
