Abstract (EN)
It is widely believed that engaged employees have a motivation to contribute towards organizational success. According to literature, powerful talent management strategies are a means of obtaining employee engagement through job satisfaction. Reduced employee turnover and enhanced organizational productivity are the result. Methodology was employed a quantitative method. Survey questionnaires were transmitted to the workers, for both managers and non-managerial staff working at private banks was randomly sampled using a simple random sampling technique in Djibouti. Their managerial status determined the selection of respondents. The survey was successfully completed by only 210 individuals out of a total sample size of 300. The main factors, such as job satisfaction and rewards, organizational culture and organizational support are covered in the survey regarding various aspects of talent management. The measurement of talent management practices focused on related factors like growth, learning, opportunities, compensation and benefits, and work environment. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software was employed to analyze the obtained data. At a significance level of 0.01, the hypotheses were assessed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis. The results showed that there is a noteworthy and affirmative correlation between managing talent and engaging employees. Significant relation exists between employee engagement and organizational performance. Effective talent management strategies which involve comprehensive recruitment and selection processes, ongoing training and development opportunities together with fair performance management systems are shown to have a significant effect on improving employee engagement. Attracting, retaining and motivating employees is achievable through the use of these strategies by organizations. Private Banks in Djibouti are recommended to provide valuable insights into the importance of talent management for enhancing employee engagement. To achieve improved performance, productivity and competitive advantage; an organization must implement robust talent management strategies that cultivate a highly motivated employee base. This holds particular significance in the realm of banking.
