Abstract (EN)

One of the characteristics of the Mediterranean diet is that fruits and vegetables, which also contain figs, contain a high proportion of natural antioxidants. Fig contains high amounts of protein, vitamins and minerals are among the foods that provide renewal of cells. Fig and high content of calcium and phosphorus content of bone and teeth with the formation of health. Contains ans benzaldehyde it which prevents the growth of cancer cells growth, is effective against cancer. Fig seed oil is important because it contains important fatty acids and high content of vitamin E. In this study, the effect of fig seed oil on the longevity of C. elegans model organism system and the effect on stress resistance were investigated. Maximum life time changes were observed in longevity experiments. The conditions of each day were subjected to different dose applications of fig seed oil. It was found that nematodes at a concentration of 10 mg/ml from the administered doses significantly prolonged the life span according to the control group. In the temperature stress response experiments, one day after the application of fig kernel oil, the temperature of the living environment was increased from 20oC to 37oC to create heat stress. Thus, it was measured whether the life groups changed during the heat stress. Nematodes at concentrations of 5, 10, and 20 mg/ml were found to significantly prolong the lifespan significantly compared to the control group. For the oxidative stress response experiments, it was investigated whether the life expectancy was changed in the oxidized agent paraquat applied environment. Nematodes at concentrations of 10 and 20 mg/ml were found to significantly prolong the lifespan significantly compared to the control group.
